Vegan Gyros with Aviko Supercrunch Chips


These vegan kebabs are just as delicious as any donner and much healthier too. If you like things spicy maybe add some of your favourite chilli sauce in to the wrap.

  1. Cook Aviko Supercrunch chips as per pack
  2. To make tzatziki grate cucumber and drain excess water then mix with other ingredients
  3. Roughly pull apart mushrooms and fry in batches with olive oil
  4. Once mushrooms have become crisp add in spice mix ingredients and fry for a further minute
  5. Roughly chop tomatoes and cucumbers and finely slice red onion
  6. Warm naan breads in oven
  7. To prepare wraps spread tzatziki then add mushrooms, chips and salad

Naan breads

500g mixed mushrooms (eg portobello, shitake, chestnut)

1 Red onion

3 Tomatoes

1 Cucumber

Olive oil for frying

Mushroom spice mix:

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp chilli flakes

1 tbsp cumin

1 tbsp oregano

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

For tzatziki:

350g Coconut vegan yoghurt

1 Cucumber

2 Minced cloves garlic

Juice of a lemon

Pinch of salt
