Churros with Caramelised Pineapple and Cinnamon Sauce


This caramelised pineapple and cinnamon with Aviko Oven Churros dish is out of this world. Tangy pineapple, amazing churros, and the depth of cinnamon make for the perfect desert, snack or elevenses!




4-6 (or one if you don't have restraint)


  • Aviko Oven Churros
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 25g Butter
  • 10g Brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 20g Icing sugar


  1. Peel, core and dice finely pineapple
  2. Melt butter in a pan and add pineapple, brown sugar and half of the cinnamon
  3. Simmer pineapple for 20-30 mins, adding water when the pan becomes dry
  4. Once thickened remove sauce from heat and allow to cool
  5. Cook Aviko Oven Churros as per packet instructions
  6. Mix icing sugar with remaining cinnamon and dust churros
  7. Serve churros with pineapple sauce
